Associate Pastor Position:

Jesus is LORD at Plantation Community Church. The church is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries. The candidate should have a heart and plan for discipling children, youth and their families to grow closer to Christ and to strengthen their Christian walk.

Responsibilities include oversight of: children's ministries including AWANA program, middle school and high school youth programs including summer mission trip, VBS program and chaplaincy of preschool. Job also includes assisting the Senior Pastor, community outreach and interacting with the entire congregation.

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, passionate individual with a sense of humor and filled with the Joy of the LORD. Qualified candidates should be a graduate (or near graduate) of a 3 year degree (preferably Masters of Divinity) program of a member school of the American Association of Theological Schools.

Our church is a conservative independent Christian congregation located in Plantation, Florida (a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale). We are a loving church family from various Christian and cultural backgrounds. Our focus is on Bible teaching, prayer, missions, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
