Plantation Community Church
Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:18-20). In obedience to this command from the Lord, we support missions on the local, national, and international level. Below are the missions we support:
Local Missions
FIRST PRIORITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA
Equips middle and high school students to share the gospel on their local school campuses.
HOPE WOMEN’S CENTERS
Offers Christian alternatives for women in crisis pregnancy situations. This ministry offers counseling, ultrasound testing, mentoring and loving encouragement.
PLANTATION CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL
Our church’s outreach into our community that provides a quality, developmentally appropriate Christian curriculum for children ages 2 ½ through Pre-Kindergarten.
SHERIDAN HOUSE
Presents Christ through counseling and teaching of Biblical principles to families and children in need.
WELL OF SYCHAR
Provides hope and help for abused women and children through counseling, resources and coaching.
YOUTH FOR CHRIST
KRISTEN NORTH is a member of our church who serves as Director of Youth for Christ for Miami and Broward counties. YFC shares the hope of the gospel with at-risk students.
National Missions
THE LANDING
DAVE & HEATHER TARPLEY minister through counseling, coaching, and care to pastors, missionaries, and other full-time Christian workers who are hurting.
International Missions
CHRISTIAN MISSION IN THE FAR EAST (PHILIPPINES)
JAIME & LINDA JULLIAN oversee this mission which advances the gospel through 188 churches, 2 orphanages, various hospitals and schools.
EASTERN EUROPE - BATUMI, GEORGIA and AZERBAIJAN
KEREM & JOY SUBASIGULLER oversee a ministry training program in Eastern Europe. They primarily reach Turkish-speaking individuals.
LEAD TO SERVE (MOZAMBIQUE)
JORGE & ALICE PRATAS share the gospel through sports and camp events.
MAZAHUA MISSION (MEXICO)
NORBERTO & LISA CORTES minister to Mexico’s largest tribe through pastoral discipleship, schooling, spiritual retreats, scholarships and home construction.
NEW HORIZON FOUNDATIONS (INDONESIA)
RYAN & MANDY KENNEDY serve the Hatam tribe in Papua through evangelism, missions, Bible school, and family life.
REWA MISSION (India)
REV. JOHN & MADHU TAIDE present Christ in a Hindu region through evangelism, church, and school.
TEAM MISSIONS (INDONESIA)
WALTER & DIANE KENNEDY serve the Hatam tribe in Papua through evangelism, missions, Bible school, and family life.
VIDA HOSPITAL (HONDURAS)
DR. JOSUE & MARICELA HERNANDEZ, ALONG WITH DR. JOSUE’S MOTHER LUZ are all part of this ministry providing medical, physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients in the community.
WORLD OUTREACH (SOUTH AFRICA)
DAVID & DEBBIE GROHMAN oversee this ministry to South Africa and India through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and teaching,
