Our Core Beliefs

Our Values

We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, missions-minded church. Our church is a family in which every member is encouraged to share in worship, fellowship, service, and prayer. Below are a few vital statements that our church believes.

Statement on Marriage and the family

We believe that marriage was ordained by God at creation as the sacred union of one man and one woman. All sexual relations must therefore be reserved for that union. Christian marriage is a representation of Christ’s relationship to His church. We also believe that children are a blessing from the Lord. Thus all human life is sacred and worthy of protection from the moment of conception.

Genesis 1:26-28; 2:24, Psalms 127:3-5, 139:13-16, Matthew 19:1-9, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Ephesians 5:22-33, Hebrews 13:4

Church Statements

(As adopted by the National Association of Evangelicals)

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by those indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Church Covenant

We covenant with the Lord and one another to accept the cost and joy of Christian discipleship. We pledge ourselves to be faithful and loving servants of God and our fellow man. We promise to proclaim the Gospel to all the world and with God’s help, to resist the powers of evil. So far as we are able, we will attend the services of His church, observe its sacraments, share in its work, support benevolences and endeavor to make it a fruitful body of Christians. We commit ourselves to the LORD and to the growth and extension of His kingdom.
