Join us as we walk through reading the Bible together in 2022! You can do so in one of three ways:
1) Five Day Bible Reading Plan
This is a free and flexible plan that allows you to read the entire Bible (or only the New Testament) in one year. As the name says, it’s based on a five-day a week reading schedule. This leaves you two days each week where you can catch up on any missed readings. Each day’s reading consists of a selection from both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The schedule for 2022 is available online at https://fivedaybiblereading.com/. Printed copies are also available in the church sanctuary. A Reader’s Companion featuring commentary and application (140 pages) will be available for members of the congregation in either print form or as a PDF, upon request.
2) Daily Walk Devotional Magazine from Walk Thru the Bible
This is a subscription to a monthly magazine ($35 per year). An electronic version (Kindle or Nook) is also available on a bi-monthly basis for $3 each ($18 per year). This is a guide for your daily reading giving insight and application to deepen your understanding.
Print subscriptions are available at https://www.walkthru.org/resources/devotional-magazines/daily-walk-magazine/. Electronic versions are available through amazon.com (Kindle) or barnesandnoble.com (Nook).
3) The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble
This is a chronological reading (a reading based on the historical sequence of the events) accompanied each day by an excellent podcast explaining what was just read. This has been our sponsored method for the past two years and the feedback has been wonderful.
Information for both electronic and print methods is available at http://www.thebiblerecap.com/start. Or, if you have the YouVersion Bible App on your phone, you can sign up for the reading plan by searching for The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble.
