In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Our church firmly believes in the mission of this commandment from our Lord, as a result we support missions on the local, national, and international level. Below are the missions we support:
Local Missions
First Priority of South Florida
Ministry of South Florida that brings the Gospel message to Middle and High School students.
Hope Women’s Center
Offers Christian alternatives for women having crisis pregnancies. This ministry offers counseling, ultrasound testing, mentoring and loving encouragement.
Sheridan House
Presenting Christ through counseling and teaching of Biblical principals to families and children in need.
Well of Sychar
A local Christ-based ministry offering hope and help for abused women and children through advocacy, counseling and sanctuary.
Youth for Christ (Kristen North)
Kristen is a member of our church who serves as a missionary to at-risk young people with Youth for Christ. Ministry focuses on the bringing the Gospel to students.
National Missions
The Landing (Dave & Heather Washburn Tarpley)
Ministering through counseling, coaching, and care to pastors, missionaries, and other full time Christian workers who are hurting.
Operation Christmas Child: Samaritan’s Purse
Worldwide distribution of shoe boxes for children living in poverty or distress, filled with gifts and the Gospel.
International Missions
Christian Mission in the Far East (Philippines)
Ministering Christ in face of death threats while advancing the Gospel through 188 churches, 2 orphanages, hospitals and schools.
International Sports Ministries (Mozambique)
Pratas family serving with ISM sharing the Gospel through sports and camp events.
Mazahua Mission (Mexico)
Presenting Christ through transformation of body, soul, and spirit. Focus is to minister to Mexico’s largest tribe through pastoral discipleship, schooling, spiritual retreats, scholarship and home construction.
REWA Christian Evangelical Mission (India)
Rev. John Taide ministering Christ in a Hindu religion through evangelism, church, and school.
Team Missions: Walter & Diane Kennedy (Indonesia)
Serving in remote region of primitive Papua. They minister Christ to the native Hatam tribe through evangelism, missions, Bible school, and family life.
Team Missions: Ryan & Amanda Kennedy (Indonesia)
Serving to minister to the native Hatam tribe in Papua through evangelism, missions, Bible school, and family life.
Vida Hospital (Honduras)
Ministry dedicated to providing medical, physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients in the community. Dr. Josue Hernandez, his wife Maricela and his mother Luz, are all a part of this ministry.
World Outreach (South Africa)
Samuel and Banhu Singh minister to South Africa and India through evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and teaching,
