Hurricane Irma Cancellations

Church Cancellations Due to Hurricane Irma:

Posted Wednesday 9/13

We hope you are all safe and well. Once again, please call the church office if you have any special needs.

Things are slowly getting back to normal at the church, but we are still operating on a reduced schedule. Here is the revised schedule for Wednesday through Sunday of this week. We expect to be back to our regular schedule starting Monday, September 18.

Note we will have a special combined worship service this Sunday at 10 a.m.
Pastor Ray will be preaching on “God and Natural Disasters.”

Revised Schedule:

Wednesday 9/13 > 6:30 p.m. prayer service
     All other activities cancelled

Thursday - Saturday > All church activities cancelled

Sunday 9/17 >
Special combined worship service at 10 a.m.
No Sunday School, AWANA Club or choirs
6:30-8:30 p.m. - IMPACT Youth Group will meet

Monday 9/18 > Back to normal (Lord willing!)

Posted Monday 9/11 - Praise the Lord! We trust you all made it through the storm okay. Please contact the church office if you have any special needs at this time. The church property is fine after the storm - some trees and a lot of branches down, part of the walkway missing by the prayer chapel, but the buildings are all in good shape. We have power in all the buildings except for the sanctuary. We have contacted FPL and are waiting for repairs.

Due to the cleanup efforts at the church and at people's homes, we have cancelled all activities at the church through Wednesday except for our Wednesday night prayer service at 6:30 pm in the Prayer Chapel. We encourage you to come out as we give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and pray for those who suffered loss from the storm.

We will post information about Thursday through Sunday activities at the church later in the week.

Posted Thursday 9/7 - Due to the close approach of Hurricane Irma, we will not hold services or any activities at the church this Sunday, September 10. Please keep safe and pray for all in the path of the storm.

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” (Psalm 91:1–2)

“The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.” (Nahum 1:7)

Posted Tuesday 9/5 - Due to the threat of Hurricane Irma we have cancelled all scheduled activities at the church from Wednesday afternoon through Saturday. Although the storm's track and timing are still uncertain, we want to be cautious and give people as much time as they need to prepare.
